I'm finally blogging about our wonderful trip to California! It has been awhile since we have actually had a family vacation and it was so nice to have a few days to spend with one another. We stayed in the La Jolla Village area right across from the beach. It is so beautiful there! My parents came along and we all stayed in their time share. This was our family vacation growing up (we've been going since I was 1) and it was nice to do the same with my kids. We had fun enjoying the weather, beach, walking, shopping, eating, going to an awesome Farmer's Market, and Sea World!! There was a lot to cram into only 3 1/2 days but it was worth it. The kids were so exhausted they came home and crashed every night. This was good because the grumpy old guy downstairs wasn't a good combo with my two active toddlers running everywhere upstairs... not to mention there is only supposed to be 4 to a unit and we had 6.

Looks awesome! I am happy you got a trip together... those always look so fun, that is, when parents take their kids to places like Sea World. Yay!
I'm glad you had a good time. I love San Diego. . . I'm hoping me and Craig go back for his birthday in April. Oh, by the way your kids are soooo cute. You're pretty cute too. :)
We love Sea World!!!! Looks like you guys had a blast! You got some great pics as well! Glad you got a little alone time as well and got to leave the kids with grandma and grandpa for awhile - even a date night! How fun and I am sure very needed like the rest of us with kids and crazy busy lives! got to love grandparents! we are very spoiled by ours!!!
How fun!! What an amazing view of the beach, and how fun to be so close to it! Isn't it nice to just get away from everyday life for a little while? It looks like the kids had a blast. I love little Blaine's sweet little facial expression while watching the sharks. Kids are so much fun! (Please remind me of that next time I complain about my kids..cause it's easy to forget!)
I didnt realize that you actually stayed in La Jolla. Well, talk about the life! You kids are so cute and funny. Amazing how that much personality can be in such a small little person. Oh, and I still LOVE your haircut.
I want to go to Sea World! Man...La Jolla is so stinking beautiful. I'm happy you exposed to me that side of California. Pictures don't do it justice.
