This year Blaine had an extra day off so we decided to dye eggs with the kids for the first time. Before we even started dying the eggs Blaine sipped on the blue vinegar dye. Not to worry, it's non-toxic. Genius!

Shelby was really, REALLY upset the Easter Bunny didn't leave anything for daddy. So she went and took stuff to him while he was sleeping. This girl has a heart of GOLD!
I have no clue why they had to hold their stuffed animals and have no idea why they can't seem to find the camera and look at it when I'm taking a picture.:)

This year I made sure to talk to the kids about why we really celebrate Easter. Shelby caught on really quickly and loved looking and asking questions about the pictures I showed her. By the end of the day she was able to tell most of the story all on her own (with the prompt of some questions of course). None the less, it made me happy that she remembered what I had taught her.

I wonder how gross it tasted..how did he react? I love that Shelby was upset about daddy not getting anything and wanting to share. So cute!! Hope everything goes well on Friday.. My mom said quickly afterwards you feel so much better. Keep me on call if you need anything!
My Hubie drinks vinegar right from the bottle. He likes it. The kids look so adorable. I miss those days. Grand babies one day. Your family is beautiful.
Blaine's basket looked like Samuels- all sport balls. I do hope I get to see you on Sunday- I cant get over how cute your hair is!
Renae, the first thing he said was "Mama, hot". I laughed at his reaction.
