A Leash?

I knew when I almost hit that bicyclist (he ran the red light after my light turned green) this morning it was going to be an adventurous day. We spent the morning at the zoo. My mom had the day off and some discounted tickets. However, this didn't stop her from asking about a Senior discount. HILARIOUS! Now I can really tease her about her age after she is willing to admit she is old enough to qualify for a Sr. discount just to get cheaper tickets that have already been discounted. That's my mom always looking for a great deal! Anyway, I jumped at the chance to let the kids run around and wear themselves out. Apparently they aren't supposed to run at the zoo though. Blaine was running full speed ahead when I overheard a lady tell her husband, "That kid needs a leash!" Really? It's the zoo. Shouldn't they be allowed to act like animals? Oh well we still got out of the house for a few hours AND got treated to McDonald's. It was a fun day!

These little monkeys were my favorite! They kept kissing on eachother.

This was the part of the day where I actually got to sit down. They could have fed these ducks for hours!

We topped the day off watching Blaine's brothers' Spring MCC football game and shaved ice from Bahama Bucks....YUMMY!
