Future Chef?
Shelby wanted eggs this morning. I told her to wait just a couple of minutes and then she could help me. Apparently a couple minutes in real time feels like 2 hours in kid time and she just couldn't wait any longer. I looked over (a couple of minutes later) to find a 3 year old girl sitting on the counter top with a pan out and a crunched egg in hand. Nice! I looked in the pan to find this...2 eggs already cracked and just a few tiny shells in the mix. Not too bad for a first timer! Here's a picture of Shelby's first attempted dish...we have to document this for when she's a big chef one day. ;)

That is hilarious! I actually laughed out loud!
About the bed- I think we got lucky- he actually put himself to sleep tonight!! That is a far cry from what we used to do. We made a big deal about the bed to him and actually encourage him to play on it so he thinks it is fun... let me know how it goes with you!!
